ELA
We began our study of Night by Elie Wiesel this week which is his memoir about the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986 for his lifetime work of bringing attention to human rights, genocide, and calling the world to action against inhumanity. We have a special virtual author visit on Wednesday 2/17/21 with Scott Reintgen, author of the Nyxia Trilogy, the new Ashlords duology, and a new series for middle grade students. Mr. Reintgen (pronounced Rankin) will share a presentation about following your passions and writing and students will have an opportunity for Q&A. Check out Scott Reintgen @https://www.itspronouncedrankin.com/.
